So I know Elementary/JLM Holmes can be an ass but all the modern Holmes’ are just such huge jerkfaces (House, RDJ Holmes, BBC Sherlock) who give their Watsons SO MUCH GRIEF that by comparison JLM Holmes just comes across to me as this adorable puppy
YES.
The best part (IMO) is that he realizes he’s being an ass, and he’ll try and keep up with the assholery and Joan just… makes him stop being a *complete* ass just by being Joan - and/or he’ll legitimately apologize for it (after Joan makes him realize he’s being an ass). I watch Elementary more for Joan now than for Holmes solving cases. Lucy Liu is the BEST WATSON. (I haven’t seen BBC Sherlock (yet) so this opinion may change BUT PROBABLY NOT. Also, House is the worst Holmes adaptation it can go DIAF.)
